SYNTHETIC SHEET STACK
Energyte® offers solutions for projects using synthetic sheet piling designed and manufactured specifically for ports, docks, and seawalls. Advising governments and contractors is a key part of project development, providing a comprehensive solution that encompasses everything from design to custom manufacturing tailored to the project's specific characteristics.
ADVANTAGES OF SYNTHETIC SHEET PILE VS STEEL
Corrosion Resistance : Unlike steel, synthetic sheet piles do not rust or deteriorate when exposed to salt water, thus prolonging their service life.
Predictable Costs : The initial cost of synthetic sheet piles is usually lower than that of steel, and they are not subject to daily fluctuations in the steel market, as well as tariffs.
Environmentally Friendly : Synthetic sheet piles are environmentally friendly because they do not rot or corrode, eliminating the need for additional anti-corrosion coatings.
Ease of Installation : They can be installed using the same traditional piloting equipment, reducing the need for special tools and additional costs.
Customized Options : 12 profiles are offered, including vinyl and composites, custom lengths and shorter delivery times, with no additional tariffs, taking advantage of trade agreements such as the USMCA.
Certifications : We have national and international certifications, including ISO and ASTM.
Synthetic sheet piles outperform steel sheet piles in several aspects:
Durability : Synthetic sheet piles have a significantly longer lifespan, reducing long-term repair and replacement costs.
Appearance : Unlike steel ones, synthetic sheet piling maintains a clean and aesthetic appearance without rust, with UV protection options included (not extra) and various colors.
Cost-Benefit : Although the initial installation cost may be comparable, the total long-term cost of ownership is more favorable for synthetic sheet piles due to their lower maintenance requirements.

Disadvantages of Steel Sheet Piling:
1. Shorter lifespan, with corrosion problems when exposed to salt water.
2. Costs are unpredictable due to the daily variation in steel prices.
3. Higher freight and tax costs due to being imported from Asia.
4.- It increases its cost when using anti-corrosion coatings.
5. Subject to tariffs for Steel in Mexico for its importation.
6.- Obtaining quality protocols is difficult depending on the project.
